I've made some icons from the film Dateline Diamonds, which The Small Faces feature (for about 1 minute) in 1965 before Mac joined.

So, if any of you haven't seen "The Passing Show: The Life and Music of Ronnie Lane" yet go buy it NOW. One of the best DVDs I own, srsly.
Anyway, here's a bunch of screencaps I took just to make you say "Hay. I wanna see that movie now!" If there's an image you want in a bigger size just let me know and I'll get it to you. These are pretty much out of order. Sorry.

it's the end that's just the beginning.Collapse )

If your Mac's fan on Facebook, you've probably already seen this. Mac was featured on CBS Sunday Morning, with a nice little review by Bill Flanagan.
Thought I'd share. :]

Music: "Baby Jane" by Rod Stewart

From nme.com, a pretty damn reliable source...

A spokesperson for Rod Stewart has refuted rumours that the newly-reformed Faces are set to tour this year.

Yesterday (January 22) it was reported that Red Hot Chili Peppers' Flea had joined the band on bass duties, while guitarist Ronnie Wood had previously said the band were finalising tour dates.

However, a spokesperson for frontman Stewart told Billboard that "there are no plans for a Faces reunion tour this year".

A spokesperson for Flea said that the bassist "knows nothing" about a possible tour. Keyboardist Ian McLagan, meanwhile, is already booked for a solo US tour this Spring.

Raise your hand if you just thought that they were rehearsing for a tour. Holy shyte.

Rod Stewart And Ronnie Wood Finish New Faces Album

Rod Stewart And Ronnie Wood Finish New Faces Album

Faces' bandmates Rod Steward and Ronnie Wood have completed recording the band's new album.

The group, who announced their reformation last year, recorded their new material in Costa Rica, Bermuda and Miami over Christmas and New Year.

"I had a great time,” guitarist Wood told the Daily Mirror newspaper. “It wasn't so much a holiday but a mini world tour."

Wood said the band planned to tour the record, their first new studio effort in thirty years, in 2010. [D:]

As previously reported on Gigwise, the guitarist said last year that a host of other musicians, including Red Hot Chili Peppers Flea, had approached them about joining the reunion.
